Desaru : (The Village of Casuarinas)

Desaru is a popular seaside destination among Malaysians and Singaporeans in Johor. This destination is a great place for a family vacation.It is located in the southeastern corner of Johor, approximately 98km from Johor Bahru.The sea here is very suitable for swimming, waterskiing,canoeing and catamaran.

In Desaru , you can enjoy thrilling adventures such as learning to fly an ultra-light aircraft or take part in a go-cart race. Other forms of recreation includes jungle trekking, horseback riding,archery and off road adventures. Accommodation here includes hotels as well as budget chalets, dormitories and camping grounds.

How to Get There

	By Air : Air asia and Malaysia Airlines operates daily flights to Senai , Johor. From there you can catch a bus or taxi to Desaru. By Train Malayan Railway offers numerous train services connecting major Malaysian cities and towns as well as Singapore to Johor Bahru. At the Johor Bahru Railway station , you can catch a taxi to Desaru.
By Sea Ferrylink provides ferry services from Changi Point in Singapore to Tanjung Belungor, Johor where transport to Desaru can be arranged.
